you can put it on a longe and let it gallop a few rounds everyday or
there are people who can ride it
but why don’t you wanna ride it?

  2. HorsePro says:

Put him/her on a lunge line. Take her out and warm her up like you would while riding her, and then do cantering, etc. Walk her up and down the barn isle WITH her blanket on. It will give her a chance to stretch her legs and get a good walk inside.

ALRIGHT THIS IS ILUVMYPAINTPONY BUT ON MY OTHER ACCOUNT! just trying to clear something up so i dont get the same responses…. IT IS SNOWING OUT, NO INDOOR ARENA! i cannot lounge my pony. I cannot get someone else to ride my horse because it is snowing ro else i would be riding her ITS NOT THAT I SONT WANT TO RIDE HER ITS THE FACT I CANT BECAUSE OF SNOW…… so yeahh…. just trying to clear stuff up. i want to know work like strecthing their legs, doing the strtching down with the bit in their mouth.. etc. it is UNABLE TO RIDE and its not thast I CANT RIDE MY HORSE ITS THE FACT IT IS PHYSICALLY UNABLE TO RIDE :)

How big is her loose box? Do you have an indoor aisle to walk up and down? You can do a lot of physio work with horses too. So you could walk her up and down the aisle for a while (10 – 15 Min’s) to get her loose and moving and then start some physio type stuff. Stretching her legs out in front, lifting her hind legs up high (if she has no arthritis or orthopedic problems) and then out the back (if she doesn’t kick!). Gently bend her head round to her shoulder as far as she will let you. Teach her to let you drop her head down to between her fetlocks. Teach her to follow you in the box with just a halter on and a stick (stick is not to hit with, just a guidance tool). Hope this is of some help!!
